Oh no Goat_Walker!!!!!! I am so so sorry. I don't even know what to say. Nothing will heal the pain I know. Poor lil Wayne. I was so excited to see someone else with a micro-duck. I am so so sorry for your losses.

Im frustrated most wiht my family.

I had a rabbit get covered in thousadns of ants and I had to bring it inside to nurse it back to health. I didnt go anywhere but school for two weeks so i could help the rabbit. The rabbit starts doing better. I leave for three hours to help a friend. COme home and they had put her back out side in 100 degree weather. I go check on her and she is dead.

I bought a hamster from the petstore. Sweetest thing but sick as a dog. I nurse herback to health, clean her butt daily and feed her with a dropper. I leave for a few hours once again and come back to find her twitching on my floor ( this is hte hamster i mentioned in post one ) . They had put her in her ball but didnt put the gate up.

And now little wayne.

Ive lost a few more animals withought my family's care and it just frutstrates me that they dont CARE!

So, sorry Goat_Walker. Yes, it can be very frustrating.... esp. when you care deeply about a pet and have been working so hard to keep them healthy or get them back on their feet. I do feel for you.

GoatWalker, my heart is absolutely crushed for you.

I KNOW how you are about your ducks and other animals. I WISH I knew what to say to comfort you. I truly am sending hugs and hope you can feel them.

It is very, very hard when you care about something or someone and your family doesn't share that love. I know. But there is much to be said for true forgiveness. I hope the time will come when you can truly forgive and let go of all of this. It probably won't be easy and it probably won't be soon if it is true forgiveness, because you need time to heal. Tears seem to help the healing process. I know I've cried bucket loads of them.

Perhaps it will help to picture Lil Wayne in that special place where much-loved animals go to wait for us to join them. I have many, many "deposits" in that special place myself and I frequently picture them all there together, having a blast, but watching for me. My dad and my sister and my grandparents, etc are waiting there too.

May you also have a blast, Lil Wayne, until we see you again.
