R.I.P most of my coop R.I.P Cheepers 11/28/10

I am so sorry for your loss. Is there any chance you could be dealing with a Mountain Lion? For it to have done so much damage that was the first predator that came to mind. I saw that you are in New Mexico and know that there is a good population in that state. If so, please be careful.

Good luck! I hope you take care of what ever it was.

I am so sorry about your poor babies. I am glad that some of them have come back and I hope that they recover. I hope that you find out what caused the chaos and can prevent it from happening again.

Healing thoughts coming your way for all the injured!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved birds. It especially hurt to hear about Woo.
Hopefully you catch whatever did this, as we all know they will be back. Please be careful, I want to know that both you and your birds are safe tonight.

Oh man I'm so sorry. That is absolutely devastating. Be careful, but I hope you get whatever did this.

As much as I love them all, losing Woo has been the hardest. I don't know how many remember the night Woo was taken by a hawk or owl or something. Nugget screamed for her for hours on end. We walked the property looking for her with Nugget in my arms screaming the whole time. When she showed up injured but alive he protected her until she was well and they were inseparable until he was killed almost a year ago.

That is awful, I'm so sorry about your birds.

If you have a six foot fence, that was no dog.... Mountain lion would be my bet. In which case, be careful for your won safety and that of your other pets, they will take cats/dogs too. Good luck, hope you nail the SOB!
