Something broke in my serama coop killing my pair and a duckling my serama hatched so no more seramas and down to 7 chickens 4 being roos also down to 2 ducks as the male got processed for being aggressive I did catch I think what did it caught two things actually both i dispatched

So sorry for your losses. We built a aviary three years ago for pea fowl, lady Amherst pheasant, and red crest touraco. The wire mesh we used on the aviary was 1inch x 1inch , way too big. We lost both touraco and two pheasant chick to snakes. It took me a while to get over the loss and I replaced the wire mesh with a much smaller mesh. I didn’t think that snakes would kill something that was too big for it to swallow, I was so wrong. Turacos and pheasants are now safe inside the aviary.
