I'm sorry about your chicken. I don't want to belittle or ignore your pain but did you kill the bird of prey? If that is a protected species it is illegal. There could be some hefty consequences.

You should also put a warning in your title if you are going to post graphic pictures. It may upset some people especially if they're not expecting it.

Agreed, a warning for the graphic pictures is a good idea. And, you might want to delete that picture of the (I'm assuming) dead hawk immediately. All raptors are federally protected and killing them could earn you up to a $10,000 fine and some jail time....you're not even allowed to harass them.
