R.I.P. Stripes

Sorry to hear she died.

Do you know what caused her to die? Was it just too cold or did something happen to her?

She was off her food for a few days - she would come into the stables at night with her family but she showed no inclination to eat, she had no injuries and always waddled out of her overnight home to be with the others in their fields and she was using the mill pond to bathe in - when I discovered her lying in the field Christmas night she got up but fell on her side - I lifted her up and carried her indoors and my feeling was that she would not be alive by the next morning - unfortunatley Vet's here in France have no interest in any fowl - so sad but she had a great life here with us - thank you Stripes for having been mine! R.I.P. Baby
