Ok, Someone gave me a year old black and white medium size male rabbit, I have a Dwarf year old female rabbit. I know you cant breed Large breeds with small. But can you Breed medium with small? Their close to the same size but diff breeds.

If the doe was the medium sized rabbit, I would say go for it. But if they are pretty much the same size, poundage wise, it will probably be okay.

Also, depending on what you are breeding for, a larger doe will generally kindle more kits, the reason is that she has a greater rib space for them.

as long as the girl is at least the same size as the boy you can breed with no problems its not that they cant breed you just want to make sure she can deliver the babies easily if she is bred to a large buck she could carry large babies and it could kill her if she is too small.

you could but like the others are saying it would very helpful ifthe doe is larger than the buck! do you know the two type of rabbits you are breeding? have any pic?
