Yes it can rabbits are VERY sensitive to feed change it’s always best to mix the two feeds in ratios starting with more of current feed and less of new feed and gradually over about a week increase new feed and lower current feed if you don’t it can cause diarrhea and can kill them

So injection of penicillin was the right way so that’s good what was your dosage and rabbit size

She was 5 pounds and we gave about 1/8-1/4 mml or whatever that unit of dosage is. We were afraid to overdo it and played it safe. Is that to much?

Are the rabbit cages stacked?
How thick is their covering at the bottom of the cage?
Any covering on the top of a cage?
It's only lower cages right?
Check over all the poop trays in your rabbit cages for any holes. I've heard of Guinea Pigs being pooped on and dying a day or two later. Most of the time they were kept in stacked cages.
