Rabbit eating Cat Food

What is the % of protein in the rabbits pellets? sounds to me he is looking for more protein.
try the same brand of feed but up the%
Angoras need higher % of protein for wool production than normal rabbits,.
if this is the issue give him black oil sunflower seeds, a few a day will not increase weight but will supply the rabbit what his needs are.
Doc's rabbit enhancer, show bloom and a few others also will increase protein levels.
hope this helps.

I just through the bag away for his food. I'll have to see if I can dig through the trash and get it.

I'm fairly certain it's 18% though. He actually does get some BOSS in his diet, I can't say how much he eats but he gets some in a treat block he has and in some of his munchies. He's a very spoiled bunny.

LOL there is no such thing as a spoiled animal , a well loved one yes.
well if you feeding BOSS and 18 % it cant be a protein issue.
I have to wonder if the silly guy just likes cat food?
rabbits never cease to do something off the wall to surprise us.
I wouldn't let him eat the cat food though , it can cause gastrointestinal issues and it isnt pleasant for the bunny nor the owner.
If there is anyway of locking him up when the cats are being fed , and the bowl put up or away when their not, thatwould be the easiest solution.
of course theres always the odd box of torn up newspaper to distract a trouble bubble.
