Rabbit hutch in chicken coop?

Thanks! The hutch is about 2 feet off the ground with a solid roof, so the only contact they would have is through the rabbit droppings, and I didn't know if that was safe. But it sounds like it is! Thanks a ton guys!

so does anyone know about the diseases they may share, any help please!!!!!!!

I have a bunny who runs with my chickens. I felt so sorry for him in his hutch all day. He loves to hop into a cluster of hens and they all scatter and fuss at him. It is hilarious! One of my hens actually plays with him every morning. It is cute.

thanks for those links silky, very kind of you.
it seems the chickens may have given the rabbits something........or just a very un-happy coincidence??
they have mycoplasma symptoms, waiting lab results.
chickens on tylan, rabbits on baytril.
they are normally very happy rabbits seperate to the chickens but all 4 together mummy and 3 offspring in a massive enclosure with tunnels and logs to hop over.

I have a rabbit that live with my 8 chickens. The hutch is right next to the coop, and the rabbit comes out to hang with the rabbits.
They did chase each other for a day or two, but they settled. They have been living together for 8 months now. I even see the rabbit eating chicken feed with the chickens from time to time.

Make sure you have wire mesh or fencing going a good 10 inches into the ground or your rabbit may go missing.
