Rabbit neocropsy report is in from MSU

One older thrianta got it. she didn't survive. So no. No way to to find out of they can condition out on it.

There is another breeder that got in contact with me. They are having the vets at purdue neocropsy their rabbits. I guess theirs are dying from the same thing. They asked for a copy of my neocropsy report. so will update if I get any info on that too.

Every now and then I would have babies randomly die over the past year. Nothing like what I saw in august-september.

I agree random losing of one or two is normal but when it starts affect 10 + at a time then its become a problem and needs to be gotten to the bottom of.
I have noticed one thing:
This seems to occur mainly when there is a crop switch over, early spring and early fall. it maybe coincidence, maybe not. I dont know.

Well they got ahold of me today and said they are testing for the calcivirus. I doubt they have, or they'd all be dead by now. They said the final report should be done today. So I should be getting it soon.

i dropped a message to the ARBA explaining what is going on. Hopefully they (DR hayhow) can weigh in on this. And hopefully help pass thee word that there is something going on through the DR magazine.

It seems that on the ISRBA yahoo groups, there are some breeders having a lot of problems with it now. The one said they think they may have picked it up at a show, since their rabbits were fine till then. The majority of them are feeding pen pals, purina show formula, and manna pro.
