Yes rabbits seem to be good at digging, It is probably a good idea to allow for some area of digging for the animals happiness which adds to there overall quality of life and if they are to be used as meat, meat quality, this set up is going to be more tricky then first intended. It is almost as if you must create another square area underground for them so they can burrow but cannot get away.

I keep mine on the wire. No ground contact whatsoever. There’s RHDV within 80 miles of here and they want no part of it. To sell to my buyer I had some hoops to prove in order to do so.

Any you raising rabbits? what you put on the floor of there area so they dont dig out an hop away like the fluffy critters they r?
