RABBIT QUESTION

Any you raising rabbits? what you put on the floor of there area so they dont dig out an hop away like the fluffy critters they r?

No because its not built yet, but just think of an area like a massive chicken coop with a fenced off out door area.... now how do we stop the rabbits from digging out under this fence.. do you get it? thanks.

You dig it out. Line it with hardware cloth, then fill it back in.

You can dig wire cloth down and out about 2 ft. That's what you do for chicken runs to keep predators out does that make sense?

alright so.... you dig the dirt of the whole thing... then put that wire on the ground then cover it back up with dirt? cool.

EDIT: My chooks free range 24 7 so yeah have not built things like this b for.

If it is just a skirt that comes into the rabbit holding area, they’ll burrow right out.

I had some luck going 3 feet down, but had a doe (had….) that dug under.

My chooks free range all dd's ay but night lol and somehow I still get paranoid about the run they dont use haha
