How can I tell if my doe is spayed?
put it with a male rabbit and wait until a litter appears or not.
thats the only way i would now as well, maybe look for a scar if they even spay them that way
Assume its not, its an expensive surgery, the difference anatomically between a dog/cat and a rabbit are great enough that I had to really LOOK for someone to fix my rabbits.
The female's scar if visible would be 2-4 inches long - she would also have to be over 2 lbs/8 mnths for any vet in my area to touch her - (so if you got her young she won't be fixed either)
One of my rabbits SHOULD have been a neuter but the vet attempted a Spay THEN tried to charge the the difference in price. ... I did NOT pay the difference, I told him that it was an adult buck...
