Sorry there are so many pictures. They are just so easy to take pictures of I have like a million pictures.

I don't show, but I got this pet American Chinchilla Rabbit buck from an exhibitor at an Illinois Rare Breeds show in May. I had him neutered

, please forgive me. He's a pet, much like a dog (with autism). More of a look than a pet, but he's nice once he puts up with being petted. That's when he plops over onto his side at your feet with his legs out behind him. That's his "pet me now" thing.

I was just hoping one of you show people had another "chin" to post pictures of! A while back I posted queries on whether or not to neuter him, and some posted that he looks like a good chin and I should show him. He has many, many siblings, all tattoo'd in their ears with their pedigree, and to me, they looked like exact clones. So if somebody ever tells me, "that bunny looks like a blue ribbon champion", I know where to get an exact duplicate.

Boy, now that I see all your different bunnies, hmmmmm, this could get expensive.

No gold or lilac though. I only raise black, blue, chocolate, and gray.

WOW!! I'm only sending one Sable. I like the gray colored ES I like all the colors but it seems the black and chocolate ones are the most common.

Well i had to torture myself last night. We went to the petstore, i wanted to hold a bunny since i cant get one till jan or feb. That was a huge mistake, i found a single maned lionhead, it was soooo tiny and of course a broken black one of my fave colors. It was soooo soft and calm while i held it and pet it. I wanted to bring him home but i wont support pet stores by buying any pets except fish and i want a double maned lionhead. So now i want one even more and im prob gonna go nuts waiting till jan/feb. Ive been looking at lionheads all night too. Why do i keep torturing myself!

Well of course. My birds are moulting and my rabbits have all blown coats. Plus I haven't even taken pics if the last 5. Oh and need to take pics of Malayla's too.

Have a couple, not good ones. Peds on the last two still don't have a name. I really need to take care of that. I keep renaming them.

Really need pics of the others, but first my does have been rubbing fur off their backs and not they all looked plucked. One of my bucks looks nowhere near his color. Hope they grow those coats back in soon.

The pics of Aphrodite and Blackie were right after I got them. They had just been mammas, hence the plucked hair.

I'm so glad you made this thread! I'd love to read about showing and raising rabbits and hopefully learn a lot.

I have several rabbits I bought at a sale on impulse and they're expecting. Now that I'm researchin rabbits more than just general care I'm finding out that there are a lot of different breeds that are very beautiful. I think I may use these mutt rabbits as "guinea pigs" to make sure I can care for them properly and learn more about rabbits and then maybe get into showing.

I have a question: for those of you that show, do you have to travel very far to find shows? I never see any advertisements for rabbit shows around so I'm not sure just how hard it is to find the shows.
