Rabbit Thread

Thought I'd start a rabbit thread where we can post about our rabbits, post great info for new rabbit owners, etc.
Only 2 rules for this thread: Be nice! & Don't make this thread into a 'Spay/Neuter your rabbits!! You're a terrible owner for not doing so!!!' thread because people have different views on things.


I currently own a 5 month old intact female named Butterscotch. She's a Mini Rex/Lop mix and I had gotten her in June from a nice lady. Despite being at the age for her behavior to change due to hormones, she's actually pretty calm.

She use to have a friend, my Dwarf/Lionhead male, but he had passed away from a heart attack. He had only been 7-8 months old. They got along fine.

Is your bunny half Mini Lop or half Holland Lop? I have a intact male Mini Lop/Mini Rex who looks about exactly like yours! Broken Castor ''Blanket Pattern''.

Also, my male is named Juniper. He was born the 27th of March. My female, born the 25th of March, died last week. Her name was Aspen and she was Broken Black False Charlie. She got loose and died from fear when I vehicle almost hit her. (Don't hate people, I'm learning from my mistakes) There was many tears shed on my part. I was planning to breed them on the Aspen's 1st birthday...
So I now have a baby Mini Rex female, Broken Lynx and a baby Holland Lop female, Solid Chocolate Hazelnut.

I wasn't sure what half she was. Unfortunately she no longer lives. She recently passed.

Awww... I'm sorry... I'd guess she was half Mini Lop.
