Rabbit thread!!!

Hey guys so I got this rabbit today, totally love him named him Leo, anyways he is odiously very overweight. He is fat plain and simple. One of the main things I suspect for sure is the food they sent me with him I I think just has so much to it plus they let him eat a whole bunch anyways any suggestions to keep his weight down? Oh by the way he is neutered which I know can affect weight in dogs.. But I plan on feeding him a regular diet with outdoor excersize every day. Is that enough?
Give him about 1/2 cup of food every day. If he seems really hungry, give him hay--that doesn't turn into fat.

You can tell if it is too fat or not by gently running your hand over the rabbits back. If you can't feel any bones or bumps, it is too fat. If you can only feel bones than it's underweight. A rabbit with some bumps and a little cushion of fat, it is just right.

HiI have 2 bunnies, one of which is pregnant. Here they are!

This is my bunny Nala. She is a lionhead mix. I have always been curious about what she is mixed with, so if anyone has any ideas, please comment.

I don't have any pictures of my grey mini-lop, Lilac, but I will post one soon. She is 28 days pregnant, and expecting adorable babies any day now.

This is Poppy. He is a New Zealand, and is 7 weeks old in this picture (born 9/23/15). His mother is a black and his sire is a white. If anyone knows what his coloring is called (see my new thread post...what color is my rabbit and other questions) please let me know. We have black, white, and broken black NZ that we breed for meat or to sell. We get in the babies the colors mentioned plus blue, plus whatever Poppy is (the first of his color because this is the first time we bred a black and a white together).

This is Poppy with his mother Sneezy.
