Rabbit water bottles?

I think that's the way I'm gonna go! I'll use the small quart size drinker for when they're in the brooder, and after they go outside, they'll get the nipple drinker! Thanks so much!
 
If you use a standard chick waterer you might want to put it on an elevated hardware cloth platform which will help keep wet bedding contained and the waterer slightly less prone to getting dirty.

I get these BPA free containers with quart markings at a Family Dollar store. Cheap and if you drill wrong not a great big deal. These are handy for fermenting feeds as well.

When I installed the horizontal nipples they leaked slightly so I unscrewed them and added a few wraps of plumbing tape then reinstalled. Leak solved and even if they get knocked around they remain leak free.

I think I'll get the little basic quart feeder and waterer for when they're in the brooder, and use a nipple waterer for when they go outside! Thanks so much!
