Rabbits and chickens Together

I get my rabbit food and chicken feed from the same feed mill. I've compared the ingredient tags and the difference is about 4% more protein in the rabbit feed and alfalfa in the feed. I've kept my rabbits in cages suspended above the chicken run. Several times I have gone out to feed only to realize that my buckets were out of one feed, but not the other. Instead of going back for a new bag from the garage, I feed the feed to both chickens and rabbits, with no problems.

Also, chickens LOVE rabbit poop! I guess it's all the vegetable material in it.

I've also let the rabbits out, supervised in the run, and never had any problems. They tolerate the rabbits much better than when the pigs sneak into the run!
