Hi Can my 2 rabbits and 4 chickens share the 100 sq ft run. Do I need to have a place where the chickens can roost in the run?

Yes, chickens like to roost. So you will need some roosting bars. If you have standard sized breeds, you can use a 2x4, with the 4 side up, for them to roost on. As long as it is off the ground and a bit higher than the nest boxes, it will do. If you have bantam type birds, you might want to go with a 2x2 as they are a bit smaller.

It is always advised to keep other livestock in their own area. They have a different diet, require a different environment.

Good luck and enjoy BYC!

We're glad to have you. I've heard that rabbits can live with chickens, but it doesn't always work out. Sometimes, the rabbits can be injured by chickens. I'd keep them in a seperate place.
