Rabbits from TSC?

If you get two females at the same time they will be very happy with one another and won't fight but do not get two males because when they reach breeding age they will fight.

*Rabbits are individuals like any other creature. I've had wonderful ones and terrors. I had a male house bun for 5 years and another one, female for 2 and 22 other rabbits. . .some are easy-- some are not. . . AND A LOT DEPENDS ON YOU!!!! AND THE CIRCUMSTANCES YOU PUT THE BUNNY INTO!!! My male house bunny was the sweetest, but he also got upset when the household had upsets. He got into trouble if left alone too long. The white female wasn't as tempermental-- but, she was more indifferent to people too, not as friendly.. .Rabbits with other rabbits around will always be less interested in you!!! That only makes sense. And rabbits that only have you then get left alone will get bored or depressed or angry and probly cause problems or become problems.

They are easily litter box trained, if it is a baby, handle it ALOT and it should become quite friendly. Do be careful they will chew through all exposed electrical wire, phone cords, extension cords, stereo, tv etc...

I have a rabbit who was 3 years old when I adopted her from the humane society. She was locked outside in a cage and was NOT used to people. She is still not spayed (she was 3 and vets thought it might be to old).

She is Still a bit of a GRUMPY bunny. She hates to be held and sometimes makes a mess in her cage on purpose. She was neglected for a long time. That being said, she LOVES attention. She will "play" with you, she runs circles around your feet cause she is in love and likes being pet on her head. She has come a LONG way from that bunny locked in a cage she is 80% litter trained and in a BIG pen indoors. The key is patience and lots of attention.

Rabbits have a LOT of personality...personally, I would get them spayed not for behavior but for HEALTH most rabbits not spayed get cancer and don't live as long. If the rabbit is young it shouldn't cost that much to spay or neuter them.

It depends on you, and the rabbit but rabbits make good pets. I think they "act" a lot like a cat.

Females that are not raised together will have fights every bit as bad as bucks.

Even females raised together can get into fights when they reach breeding age-especially if they aren't bred. I know that doesn't make any sense, but a full grown doe knows she needs to be bred and some of them get extremely grouchy and very aggressive.

If you want a pet, get a buck and have him fixed before he starts territorial marking. If you want two, they both need to be fixed.
