hi, my daughter gave me her 8 month old rabbit and i just picked up a friend for her she is only 3 months old. i read to put them in separate cages so they can see one another for a while before they meet. The older rabbit was very inquisative and stamped her feet, the younger one just sat there. how long do you think i need to leave it before i let them meet face to face?

We are getting a pair tomorrow. My guess on breeds are broken Rex and mini lop. What are your opinions? We are breeding for meat for the dogs and these are free. Well see what we get.

The broken black is not a Rex. Its body and head look like a Lop, only with that much ear control I'd think it's poorly bred or maybe a Lop mix.

yeah I will know more about it once I see them. But I think both are mini lops. we will see about how much ear control he has tonight. I have 4 more... I think they are all mismarked dutch? that's what someone told me.

Is anyone good at talking about broken or a sprained rabbit leg? I need help

My rabbit broke his hock joint about a year ago.
I had to take him to the vet (which is always a last resort for me). All my attempts at casting it myself failed.
I would say, if you can't take him to a vet then the next moral thing to do would be to cull him.
This is just my experience. Maybe someone else has successfully treated a broken bone on their rabbit.
