Just confirmed by one of my breeding friends that she is a sable rex mix.

Based on what? Do they know who bred her? How does one determine a "rex mix?" There are no degrees of "Rex-ness," either it has a Rex coat or it doesn't.

Incidentally, I have been breeding Mini Rex for a quarter of a century.

Are they all supposed to be some variety of New Zealand (other than the Lionhead, that is), or are they mixes?

I had such fun with my buns today. It was my second grader's birthday, so I took my now 3 week old kits and buck into school to do some visiting. It was so fun to see the kids reactions--ended up visiting four extra classrooms. The kits were all a big hit, and my buck behaved so nice.
