Raccoon attack! Help!

A picture would help, but I would recommend separating it from the others, apply plain neosporin and coat it with blukote or something similar to deter pecking

First separate her, bring her inside away from flies, somewhere warm, quiet. Rinse the wound with saline or something such as chlorhexadine or hibiclense. Spray with Vetericyn or one of the aforementioned if you have any and slather that wound with neosporin without pain relief in it. Work fast and then treat her for shock even faster. Offer her some water with electrolytes and sweetened with sugar or honey. Alternatively Gatorade at room temp will due. You may have to dip her beak in it to get her to take some, or drip some on her beak with a dropper. Keep her somewhere warm, dim and quiet for a while. Don’t return her to the flock or outside until that is healed. Repeat the cleaning and slathering in neosporin steps twice a day until she is growing healthy pink skin. Don’t let the wound dry out.

I personally wouldn't use Blu Kote as long as she is separated from the others. I find it kind of messy to work around when you want to clean a wound. Definitely lots of plain antibiotic ointment!

I agree; I don’t use blu kote on large deep wounds. It’s drying and you can’t see tissue changes to monitor for infection.
