Unfortunately we lost one of our pullets today to a raccoon... is this bird still edible after being mauled by it? Its head and neck was ripped, that's how it died, but the rest of it was left intact..... is it still edible? and if so, how do we cook it?

Really? Alright... my dad would like to try and eat it but we're not sure if it's worth it... would it be possible to kill any diseases by thoroughly cooking it?

like i said that was just my opinion but if your dad thinks cooking it will kill the diseases or anything it may have got by the coon than good luck I do know they carry rabbies so be very careful! if you decide to eat it

I do agree with your opinion, and honestly I'm thinking the same thing... I'm not too sure how to cook the thing either, so I doubt we will eat it. Thank you for your response.
