Raccoon or opossum?

There was a bunch of tracks all around my coop this morning. I guess it is some starving animal looking for a way in. It is either a opossum or a raccoon, I don't know the difference, someone here will.

I think possum too. I think with a raccoon, it has to have them closer together? Not sure. I attached some prints from a link I found on Google

Looks like o'possum . I see their tracks and raccoon tracks around my coop and run all the time. They circle all the way around and then move along on their way. My run and coop is very secure so I think it's just part of their routine. Looking for me to make a mistake and accidentally leave a door open I guess. If your run and coop is secure I wouldn't worry.

Possum--consider yourself lucky. They will get in if it's easy while a coon will search for a way until they fin one.
