Raccoon problem...Help with roof for dog run

No I'm not...I just posted a picture of my roof and Ducks pen. No raccoon here in my area.

NO RACCOONS?? You ARE a lucky duck! Although there's usually gotta be something (thanks for nothing satan, ya bass trd!) Makes me wonder what else you have to deal with...

This is an old photo, but not much has changed. There's just a mesh cover over the top so he is slipping right thru.

I've got a temporary enclosure I can put them in for added security until the weekend when I can work on a new roof. I work all day, and it's already dark outside when I get home now. I've got enough hardware cloth I think I can brace it and cover the top.

Thanks. My Husband built the roof. Yes....No Raccoon here at all. Coyotes and Fox have been issues in the past though.

Do you mean the black tarp like thing....or is there metal mesh under the tarp?
That huge gap around the door and especially at top of door is a concern too.
