Im Glad my husband traps those darn things! My dogs have scared most of them away, one of them even tried to grab ahold of a newborn kitten here. Glad my dogs are on the lookout!

I've had a number of run ins with those pesky raccoon's. The worst one was waking up and coming out to the coop I had my young birds in and I open it up and see a head laying just inside the pop door. What I am guessing happened is the raccoon lifted the pop door reached in grabbed a chicken and pulled her out as he released the pop door. It fell on her neck and he just pulled until the head popped off and he ran off with the body. Not a good way for the poor chicken to go.
