Raccoon thread!!!

Ever had a run in with those poultry nabbing egg nabbing coons post your pictures and stories

I enclosed my quails in hardware cloth, never had any issues with them except for the garbage cans

When our first chicks were young a raccoon dug under the run and killed four of twelve. I now trap and kill them during trapping season. If we have a problem off season I have gotten depredation permits. I've also tanned a few hides and cooked the buggers twice. They don't taste like chicken though!

I have a city friend and it was funny we are outside and he see's a coon and he wants to go over and pet lol he though they are really nice and they wouldn't bite you or anything.

They do but is best sometimes to let some people learn the hard way ha ha ...
