several decades ago I used to fur trap. Not so proud of that history and put the traps away for good 30 years ago. Until 2 days ago. A coon decimated my flock. He got 2 roosters and 3 hens. One of them he just killed and left it. I dug out the old traps, they're killer traps not the foot kind. I shut the chickens up in the coop and build a hutch with only one opening and set a can of sardines inside and set the trap at the opening. This morning one of the biggest coons I've ever seen was dead in the trap. I set it again tonight in case any of his buddies found out there's chicken place to eat at in the neighborhood.
