After breakfast, Waleed went out to visit Roo. The haughty stallion cantered up to the fence when called over, his tail flagged high in the air. "Hi there, Roo," Waleed crooned, patting him on the neck and slipping him a treat. He clipped a lead rope to his halter and lead him down to the stables, where he would be groomed and tacked up for a ride.

Once he was ready, he took the horse out to the track. He started at a trot to warm Roo up, soon speeding into a quick canter, and then an extended gallop.
