Lexi shifted nervously watching the Danny and the mare
Dash whinnied excitedly to the stallion prancing to the end of her tie out rope, tail flagging head high, ears pricked with intrest as the studied the stallion.Alicia resisted the urge to use the crop on Jack as she rode him around the arena, as she knew that it would most likely make the scenario worse. He was high-strung, like he always was, and wanted to charge at the other horses. But, given how utterly massive and hard to control he was, it was amazing that he'd even allowed Alicia on his back, let alone allow her to control him as well as she did. His gait was elegant, and his legs took long, graceful strides. He didn't want to do this, but supposed he had to. "Good boy," she murmured to him when he stopped straining, and trotted normally.

Jack's ears perked and he whinnied back, causing his rider to groan inwardly, roll her eyes, and be on alert in case he decided to bolt.

Jack, however, had different ideas than to get back to work. With a whinny, he fought for rein, and snorted angrily when Alicia refused. He began to paw at the dirt, but decided to throw himself into a show for the mare.
His plan, however, was foiled by Alicia dismounting, and leading him elsewhere.
Dash called to the stallion as he was lead away then went back to grazing lazily.

Quote: Lexi waited silently at the barn door unsure of what to do with herself.
Alicia rolled her big eyes yet again, tugging on her thick blond braid.
