The stud perked his ears and lowered his head, looking around for the source of the response. He nickered, snorted, and then whinnied again.
August whinnied again holding his small head high then he reared and landed softly a swiftly trotting down the fence line
Baxter finally figured out where the sounds were coming from and turned that way, prancing up as close as possible to August. He leaned his head over the fence, trying to catch a whiff of the other stud's shoulder.
August moved away, nervously pinning his ears flat, his nostril's flared slightly and his amber eyes glittered nervously.
Out of discomfort, the whites of Baxter's eyes gleamed and he took a sharp step back, his neck raising slightly.
August snorted and gave a small kick before prancing away, tail flagging, head high, ears pricked
The stallion watched the other, offended at heart but deciding not to show it. "Hmph, what's his problem?" he muttered, flicking his tail as he turned to graze. Off in the distance hooves pounded against the ground, the rhythmic thuds clearly signifying a full, playful gallop was taking place amongst a horse or two.

Cry watched August quietly, wondering why Raven was ignoring them. He sighed and trotted over to August. "She must be thinking about her past again." He groaned softly.
Raven frowned faintly then quickly glanced at Cry and August. "Oh sorry guys." She muttered then quickly walked away.
