He had been charging when it hit him, sliding to a very sudden halt in front of Lori. Although the large horse hadn't showed many signs of drowsiness, he seemed to calm down. He trotted back and forth, snorting, his head down low when he finally broke down to his side.

Lori called Julie while muttering "Stupid stallions." Over and over

Midnight stood alone, shaking and bleeding, watching everyone around her.

Julie walked into the pasture and looked at the cracked fence and the bleeding horses. Midnight limped to her, making a wide circle around Roo. "What happened?"
