I am so excited about getting to know people here. My brother started a coop last year and has been getting great egg production and that inspired me to give it a try. So here I am. I will be getting my chicks this week and we will go from there!
I am a wanna-be farm girl who was raised and has always lived in the 'burbs. So I am starting a garden and a brood this year! Yay! I know I have lots to learn and I will be relying heavily on this site and on some friends and my brother, who all have chickens. I am really looking forward to this!
