So I know you don't want to over feed the rollers racers etc.feed only what they will eat in 15m or so what about when they have babies do you leave food out? When do they go through the moult and how long does it take thanks

It depends on what your set up is. If you are breeding from fliers, keep the 20 minutes. They should have time to eat and feed the babies. If they are all just breeders and not fliers, then you can give them what they want. Just take the food out at night to prevent attracting rats/mice. My breeders are in individual cages, so I keep food in there all the time. I also don't get home until 5:30 on week days, so it's much easier just to leave food in there for them, so they can feed the babies as often as they need to.
