Racoon in chicken coop!!

Better give Roger the Roozilla some extra treats tomorrow. He earned it. That bird has to be one tough roo to even attempt taking on any coon.

Rodger should now be known as Sir Rodger...

I have lived in the country for 18 years...

Although it is rare to see a racoon during daylight hours...

I have seen a few an hour before sunset, when they are hungry they hunt...

We have alot of racoons and foxes and they are slick...

They will work for hours to get into what they want to get into...

We actually had a fox chase one of our cats up on the back porch...

The cats are always up to date on their shots so we had no worry with rabies...

Would hate to see you loose any of your babies...

Racoons don't have thumbs but they can get into just about anything with those 4 fingers...

I believe you have one heck of a roo in Rodger...

but I just always thought he was a little chicken!! I mean y'all know how tiny Japanese bantams are!! I mean goodness I wouldnt even attack a coon without anything in my hand!!
