Yes they can climb 4 feet to get in the window. Can you cover the window with hardware cloth ?

I agree. I have the vents, windows and screened doors in my coops all covered with hardware cloth.

It’s amazing what they can do, the videos online of them solving problems it crazy. Put on as many screws and washers as you think you need...then add more.

A raccoon would do your taxes if it got them to a food source. I would not put anything past them. They can open latches, move cinder blocks, dig, chew and climb anything to get to your chickens/feed/eggs.
