Please i need help my chicken has been attacked by a racoon the good thing is that the dog came out in time and scared it away but the racoon bit off a chunk of its skin and i dont know what to apply to it

First I would clean the wound thoroughly with a combination of warm water and peroxide and then a light coat of neosporin or scarlet oil spray that you can buy from a feed store. I wish you luck. It's a good thing your dog went when he did. I forgot to ask you where he bit her.
