Radio Question........

Decided to put an AM/FM radio out in my little silkie pen. I have made it as predator proof as I can, but wanted even more security. Will having the radio playing really loud at night help deter predators? Have it on a country station with lots of commercials, so there is a lot of talking. Also, I am in the country, so animals are not used to loud noises like they are in the city...Anyone?

I wouldn't put it in your coop. It could keep predators away but disturb you chickens anyway.

I keep mine on a talk show, seems the continous talking keeps them away. It doesn't have to be loud, critters have good hearing.
