Rag bath

I got 3 baby chicks! Lime, Kiwi,and Raspberry. They don’t usually sleep in there roost area Ive made for them they sleep on the hay they poo on. They get poop all over them! Are they to young to have a rag bath?

How old are they? Is the poop covering their vent (pasty butt)? I'm more concerned about why they have poop all over them - chicks will not roost at all, but they normally do not have much more than some poop on their feet. Is their poop fairly solid?

If they're getting covered in poop in their brooder you need more and better bedding to absorb the poop so that they can stay clean.

It is VERY RARELY a good idea to get chickens wet, especially baby chicks.
