Don't know how many of us that need it are getting it but I woke my husband up at 4:30 this morning and said LISTEN!! IT IS RAINING!! What a glorious sound even if it is accompanied by thunder and lightening! It is amazing that the brown crunchy ground has already started to green up. So far we have already had 2 inches. Do you know what else comes with rain? Cooler weather!! Right now it is a perfect 72 degrees!! YES! It has been in the 100's all week...for the past 3 weeks.

    Thank You LORD!

I saw that on radar this morning. Too far north to help me, but congratulations. I'm glad somebody is getting some relief.

I sure wish I could share some of ours, but it just won't go anywhere but east. [IMG]

Raining in NW Alabama this morning, too! Hope it keeps it up, or if the sun come out, it will heat up to upper 90's and OMG at the humidity!
  5. Was so excited yesterday when the lightening started and the wonderful rain I never logged on, but yes, Thanks be to God! Answered prayers! So happy you all got some rain too!

Quote:That was yesterday. I have been feeling so bad for hubbo. We had a pond dug last fall, and it leaks. SOoo, since we've been in a drought, hubbo borrowed a sump pump, and has been braving the heat with a generator, pumping the pond dry. He got finished today, and pulled the pump out of the pond. Tomorrow, they were gonna work on the pond some more. Well, we just had a flash flood rain event, and the pond is full now. FULL now. God love him. I think he decided to leave it alone. Poor baby.
