I got some rainbows last year from TSC and you will like them my Roos were Huge good egg layers large brown eggs and good disposition but I dressed one Rooster out at 14 lbs+ called my pho turkey

What color were they?

The birds are mostly brown with white patche variants and also some don in them too great big yellow feet I only have a hen left doge killed my last two roosters no one of the roosters had a common pattern

How old do the Rainbow roos from TS need to be for butchering? I'm in a city that allows chickens, but no crowing rooters.

I butchered a few at about 14 weeks they were good and big then. I lucked out and now have two more that were hatched in February. They will sire a few more later!

I just processed 6, 10 wk old roos
and they were all over 5 pounds. Can't wait to roast one!

I was wondering what a rainbow chicken was when i found this thread. I was on Hoover hatcheries webpage when i came across them. They said mature roo was 6ish pounds hen was 5.
