Thanks everyone

Well then, as I plan on getting started pullets they will probably do fine with my arrangement.
I just worried about leaving them like that as I'm at work 8h 4 days a week. And sometimes, well, weather happens...

I know about "recycling" shavings as I do that with my horses who NEVER wipe their feet when they come into their stalls!
