I have a large red feeder with a weather guard and they have been eating out of it no problem. I raised it last week on a cinder block. I went to add feed and there was alot left.
I raised it because they looked unconfortable getting to the feed, plus they had a massive growth spurt.

Is it too high, you think?
Maybe they are eating less because the growth spurt is over?

thanks

How old are they, and how high off the floor is it? I have a feeling that if they can reach it easily, by at least two finger widths, they should be fine.
I'm from PA too!

they are fine then. My step-grandmother was worried about that two when my batch was only 5 days old.. even though with their long necks they could touch the floor outside the pen without getting out. She loves her animals
