I have a 2 week old baby chick that is trembling from time to time and is sitting down more often and sometimes laying on her side. she is eating, drinking, walking, and going to the bathroom just fine. i'm just curious if i should take her to the avien vet. i feed her medicated feed.

Like she trembles when you pic her up or something scares her or just random? I have chicks lay on there side all the time.

Sometimes when I pick her up I notice her legs are trembling a bit. And lately she's been laying on her side with one leg stretched out or just sitting down more than she usually does. But other than that's she eats, walks and goes to the bathroom normally. I let them out sometimes on the floor with a blanket out cause they love to stretch their legs. So I'm not sure if she's cold, or if its something else.

If she is laying with one foot out you should check her crop usally it could mean she is having troubles digesting

Ok. At 2 weeks there trying to figure stuff out are you using flakes for bedding she could've had to much or something :)
We use pine shavings for her bedding. I think the crop was the problem. she does tend to grab at the first food she sees and gobbles it down reguardless if its too big for her to eat. so maybe some of those bigger pieces of food she ate is still trying to digest.
