Raising baby chicks

Okay I have started to leave the eggs in the nest for the Hen to lay on them. My question is... Once she lays all the eggs and she starts laying on them how long from that point will they hatch? How do I know if fertile?

Well it takes 21 days to hatch. Are they your eggs? If so do you have a rooster or did you buy the eggs?

Yes, they are my eggs and yes we have a rooster.
