Winter lapped at the cooling water of the stream. She was trying to spend as little time as possible with the herd, to draw as little attention as possible to herself. But it wasn't working. A young over- confident warrior buck was trotting over to her, probably to attempt to flirt with her again. Why didn't he just get the message that she wasn't intrested in him?
