Hi and welcome!
I would love to see pictures of you Orpingtons if you want to share![]()
Terrible picture of this blue orp hen. She was not impressed with the light. She is actually a nice shape bird. Here is the ?, she has 3 or 4 distinct feather colors. Blue steel gray brown and a split to black feathering(black has no sheen) I also have chocolates like this. What is this patterning referred to aside from way off standard. If your answer is mottled, then I dont understand mottled because mottled should have random black inhibitor and show some kind of white from anywhere 2/3 out the affected feather. Hope this makes sense.Hiii welcome!! What are your questions??
? Jubilee orp chick ? First pick is platinum she is the only platinum white down jubilee orpington chick we have ever hatched. Other picture same old same jubilee. Do jubilee carry recessive white, and if so, if I wanted to breed her to her father, will she produce more platinum chicks or is this just a one in 100000?Hiii welcome!! What are your questions??

Welcome to BYC, and good luck in finding the answers that you
Welcome to BYC! What colors do you raise?
I love all those colors! You can't go wrong with orpingtons. They are big, beautiful birds. We have bbs which is where the addiction began, then we got into silver lace, and jubilee, couple lines of chocolate (which is a mess, made some bad crosses, hope to have them back to good 2024) have just brought in chocolate silver lace from two lines, and am playing with mottled chocolate maybe have some nice ones fall 2024 (hit and miss genetics in that pen) Also true blacks sometimes when I want to make some. Hatched 4 the other day blacks are always the cutest chicks (pic), Buffs come and go, locals buy them. Seems like I'm missing something, I'm always hatching something orpington from somewhere, a few stay, most get sold. Right now I'm obsessed with chocolate. Only thing I dont do is lavender, but the fellow in NY with the mottled lavender birds, they are so pretty we been kicking around messing with them. Wow that turned into a marathon!
