Neglect means they are not physically taken care of. You cannot impose human characteristics like "being lonely for you" on a bird.
No one ever said it would be neglect because the chickens would be lonely.

I have a question about whether it's possible to raise a flock of healthy chickens while only tending them on weekends.
That is the only reason I said neglect, he never mentioned on his first post that he would have someone taking care of them during the week. This same topic came up about a month ago and EVERYONE said the same thing that I've been saying. Where's everyone that agreed with me last time? Man!
