Hope I can find my answer here. It's okay for me to raise 5 - 7 ducks in my backyard just for laying eggs ?

As long as you aren't in city limits and there is an ordinance against poultry and noise. Best check for sure.

Other than that make sure you have a secure house for your ducks with good ventilation soft bedding for egg laying and keeping warm in winter. And your neighbors don't mind the quacking because ducks can be loud unless you go with Muscovy, they don't quack but do fly. If you are into beautiful lawns and gardens ducks are probably not for you because they love to nom in the mud and play in mud holes and will make many. Fencing is a must also to keep roaming dogs etc from making Duck dinner out of your flock.
